Getting Started as a Volunteer
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Love Never Fails. We are honored that you are considering joining us in the mission to end human trafficking and support survivors on their journey to healing and restoration.
A gentle note: due to the care and protection protocols in place for those affected by human trafficking, our volunteer onboarding process may take longer than usual. Background checks, Human Trafficking 101 Training, and other important documents are needed in order to volunteer within the safe houses.
We are grateful for your willingness to serve and stand with us in this important work. Your time, compassion, and commitment make a lasting difference in the lives of those we support.

What to Expect After You Submit This Form
You will be added to the Love Never Fails newsletter, where you will receive updates on upcoming volunteer opportunities, events, and ways to get involved.
Within 3-5 days, a Love Never Fails team member will reach out to learn more about you, your interests, and how you would like to serve.

Volunteer Onboarding Process
Once contacted, you will be guided through the following steps:
Complete Required Documents - You will receive forms to review and sign as part of your onboarding.
Human Trafficking 101 Training - Complete a 1-hour training through the Polaris Project and submit your certificate of completion.
Background Check (if applicable) - Volunteers interested in serving in housing programs will be required to complete a background check. A $30 donation is requested to help cover this cost, though accommodations can be made if needed.
In-Person Meeting - After completing onboarding steps, you will be invited to meet with a team member at our Community Engagement Center in Hayward to get connected and learn more about upcoming opportunities.

Love Never Fails hosts monthly In-Person and Virtual Group Volunteer Sessions, as well as 1:1 appointments.
The purpose of these meetings are to learn more about Love Never Fails programs, volunteer roles available, and answer any questions you may have about the onboarding process.
Volunteer Spotlight - Justin
Congratulations to our star volunteer, Justin, who was recognized in April 2026 by the City of Hayward for his outstanding service with Love Never Fails.
Justin joined us in 2024 as part of our outreach team through the Community Outreach Advocates (COA) program. Since then, he has shown consistent dedication and a willingness to serve wherever needed with extreme compassion, even donating the shoes off his own feet. His commitment to reaching and supporting individuals in the community reflects the heart of our mission, and we are incredibly grateful for the impact he continues to make.
