Our Job Support Services

We partner with the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) to help you find, land, and keep a job that fits your life. Here is how we support you at every step:

Our client services are available to all individuals regardless of disability and they include:

Workplace & Personal Growth (PVSA: Personal, Vocational, & Social Adjustment Services)

Available in individual or group sessions. Think of this as "soft skills" training. We help you build the confidence and social tools needed to thrive in a professional environment. This includes everything from effective workplace communication to managing a daily work schedule.

The Path to Employment (Our "Success Package")

We follow a proven, four-step process to get you into a career you love:

  1. Getting Started (Intake): We meet with you to learn about your goals, your background, and what kind of work makes you feel most excited.

  2. Job Readiness (Employment Prep): We help you polish your resume, practice interviewing, and get everything ready for your application.

  3. Finding the Right Fit (Job Development): We work with you to find job openings and connect you directly with employers who are hiring.

  4. Staying Successful (90-Day Retention): Once you’re hired, we stay by your side for the first three months to ensure everything is going smoothly and you're happy in your new role.

On-the-Job Coaching (Short-Term Supports)

Sometimes you need a little extra help during those first few weeks on the job. We provide one-on-one coaching at your workplace to help you learn your tasks and get comfortable with your new team.

If You Already Have a DOR Counselor

Great news! You’re halfway there. To start working with us, simply:

  • Mention our name: Tell your DOR Counselor you would like to receive services from Love Never Fails 

  • Request a Referral: Once your counselor sends us the referral paperwork, we’ll reach out to schedule your intake meeting.

If You’re New to the DOR

If you have a disability (including physical, mental, or learning challenges) and want to work, the Department of Rehabilitation can help fund your path to a job.

  • Step 1: Apply for services at your local DOR office (find it at www.dor.ca.gov).

  • Step 2: Once you’re assigned a counselor, tell them you’d like to work with us to find your next position! DOR will send an “Authorization of Employment”
